Hey guys,

As a college student I know it can be a challenge finding ways to make extra money. Life is filled with classes, course work, homework, projects and presentations. With all this there is hardly any time for a personal life much more a job. So here are some ways a college student can make money.

Making money On Campus:

1. SELL AND EDIT RESEARCH PAPERS

You put hard work into researching and writing your college papers. And you can also get paid for your work. Websites such as Associated Content allows you to make at least $1.50 for every 1,000 page views your paper receives. Be sure to choose legitimate companies and avoid those that resell your papers to students looking for an easy A.

As a student who receives good grades for your research papers, you can make money helping others improve their work. Place ads about your affordable editing services on bulletin boards across your college campus. You can charge a flat fee for your work (i.e., $15 per paper), or charge by the length of the paper (i.e., $5 for every 400 words).

2. SELL OLD TEXT BOOKS

Once you have completed a course, you probably wont ever open some of those course textbooks again. So you can resell them. Get the best price possible for your books by placing ads on bulletin boards, online at half.com or eBay. Hardcover books sell particularly well on these Web sites, and in some cases, you could stand to make a $20 to $50 profit.

3. PROOFREAD ESSAYS

If you are gifted with good English and have time on your hands, start charging people to let you proofread their essays and make notes and corrections.

4. SELL CLASS NOTES

It is a fact of life: people will miss classes sooner or later, and not everybody is a good note-taker. If you have a laptop, try to take notes on any word processing application to help you write faster as well as eliminate the occasional misspelling and illegibility. You can post this service  on bulletin boards across your college campus.

6. MAKE AND SELL STUFF

If you are good with your hands, paint, drawings or goofy sayings and maybe graphic design then you can make money online selling your craft. You can design T-shirts, coffee cups, coasters etc. You can put these on websites  like Zazzle, CafePress, Threadless, Etsy and Bonanza.

7. FIND WORK STUDY JOBS

Work study programs are the perfect option for college students. You may be able to find an on-campus job that allows you to work in between classes. The jobs usually are based on your current skills and financial needs. According to the 2006-07 Federal Work-Study Pay Scale Chart for undergraduate college students, work-study jobs pay from $7.50 to $9 an hour.
