Hey guys,

I was in the Trolly Bus today on my way to the city and was once again in one of my many trances. This one I had my Rasta colours headphones on, music turn up and lost in my own little world.

I was looking around and began to pay attention to what I was actually seeing.

I felt joy in sisters teasing the hell out a each other, sadness for an old blind man singing for money and a whole bunch of emotions for a mom with three small children she was tending.

I left that bus giving thanks for my health, strength and sight. I blessed God for my mom who took care of me when I was a wee girl and prayed God would watch over that mother on the bus.

I also missed my sisters to bits… All and all I just took a minute to appreciate my life.

I am Destiny Brown saying, Still Smelling Roses.

Beautifully perceptive and compassionate. Good way to pause in life. Excellent attitude to life. Practical way to use the spaces and gaps and transit points… moving forward from the past to the future with a fixed frame observation, reflection and perception! This I will post on http://johndwmacdonald.com

This is eye opening for me, I usually just stare out the window when I take the bus and pretend everyone else isn’t there. But not that I have read this I realize I might be missing out. Thanks you Destiny
