Today is a very special day. It happens to be the birthday of a very special friend. As I sat and thought how I could best describe our friendship these words came to mind.

‘All love and friendship at first, like generous wine, Ferments and frets until ‘tis fine; But when ‘tis settled on the lee, And from th’ impurer matter free, Become the richer still the older, And proves the pleasanter the colder.’
