It was a Monday and after screams of pain and probably hours of labour a lucky lady was blessed with her pounds and ounces of joy. I can imagine the look on her face when the midwife said, “Ma’am it’s a boy!!”
Years later as Lady Luck strikes again and, the boy, turned man meets an awesome young woman named Alicia.
Love is about growing together as a couple, learning about each other and not giving up.
This morning she woke up with feelings of thanksgiving, joy, and love. As she knelt in prayer to give thanks to God for that mother many years ago, for without her, she would never know this amazing man. This morning she was grateful to God for blessing him with another year and her with someone who makes her abundantly happy. This morning she prayed that moving forward he will forever be apart of her life, and that every morning here after would feel like this and better.
Happy Birthday Michael and may this year bring you more laughter and contentment, and closer to achieving your dreams. I also pray that you will have many more.
